We had an interesting discussion during some of our initial classes where we debated whether computer/software engineers are as creative or imaginative as architects or students of other art majors. I really couldn’t think of an answer then but I realized that the major flaw is in categorizing people’s creativity based on their profession or their college majors. This is something that has been ingrained in us right from the beginning. This brought me to the question whether schools and laws in general stifle creativity and to allow us to think creativity. Here are two interesting talks that chew on these issues.
