A Flatland-inspired game

by esseguin

There’s a game called Miegakure that’s been in development for a couple of years. Its premise is that it is a platformer in 4 dimensions. It was inspired by Flatland and tries to untangle and conceptualize a world with 4 physical dimensions. This is obviously difficult to do on a two-dimensional screen, but I think it’s a really cool idea. The player gets to toggle the visible dimensions and move among them to solve puzzles and get around. There’s a description and demo video available here:

  1. This is cool. I don’t fully understand what is going on, but I really want to try a demo!
