I stumbled upon a website that listed a bunch of crazy ideas. Some of them actually seem, possible, though, such as this one:
Heh, I kid. This sounds pretty crazy. But how do we (I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to the multiple mes) know that it’s not true?

The code is still a little buggy, but we will be improving it over the summer. In the meantime, see if you can teach QWOP some new skills!
Nowadays, not even humans can pass the Turing Test, thanks to annoyingly hard to read captchas. PlayThru aims to stop that by allowing humans to play a simple game for authentication. Current computer vision algorithms in spam bots can figure out letters and type them in without too much trouble (well, maybe not captcha’d letters), but now the task has become much harder, as the bot will need to determine what the task is and actually do it. +1 For the humans!
I’ve seen 3D images that are made like this. Two images with slightly different perspectives are shifted back and forth to create a 3D image. Sometimes the result is pretty lame, but I think this artist has mastered the technique! Check the link for more images.
Heh, let’s make this thing for our next origami activity!
I found a recipe to make pizza cupcakes! Cake batter and frosting are replaced with pizza dough and sauce. Mozzarella cheese and mini pepperonis take the place of sprinkles. Num!
A study done at the University of Illinois shows that men may be more creative after they’ve downed a few cold ones. Forty men participated in a study where half of the participants were sober and the remaining were intoxicated. The men were given a list of words, and they were told to state a related word. For instance, if the participant was given the words “buzz,” “geeks,” and “ramblin’,” an appropriate response would be “Georgia Tech.”
In the study, the problem was reasonably answered by 40% more of the drunk participants than the sober ones. They also answered the questions faster.
So next time you wake up angry because your drunk friend drew some unfortunate image on your forehead, just accept that your friend was just expressing his concealed creative side. Also, never fall asleep first. Ever.
Artist Liu Bolin cleverly hides himself in a shelf full of pandas. Can you spot him?
